When I first heard about the Plug Research contest to remix Bilal's Robots, I jumped at the opportunity. I'm usually not a big fan of doing remixes but this song struck a nerve with me. The commentary that Robots has on class and racial hierarchy in America is very telling. I selected the "Jamaican girls" photograph by Carlito Bridgante as the visual representation of my remix. I think that the innocence of the four Jamaican school girls contrasts perfectly with the sharp social commentary of the song. Download the ClassicBeatz remix of 'Robots' here.
